About me
Currently working in IT, I'm constantly developing myself in the programming world. I'm highly interested in UX/UI and AI, and I'm studying a variety of languages and frameworks at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
Away from the keyboard you'll find me behind a marimba, in front of an band, or managing a music association. Software and music: different tools, same rythm.

Selected work
Chairman of the board and lead programmer for my 200-member music association. What started as a website redesign grew into a platform: a music library, an admin system, and our own SSO provider on Laravel Passport giving every member one login.
The site you're on. A five-octave marimba, modelled in Three.js, that plays my own recordings, with each bar lit in real time by an FFT of the music. It started as a Fourier-transform idea during my electrical-engineering studies and grew from a spectrogram into a full WebGL scene.
A festival built from scratch to celebrate my association's 110th anniversary. I chaired the PR & Sponsoring subcommittee and sat on the steering committee. That covered social media, local press and the sponsor book, plus terrain layout, stage design and coordinating the whole event on the day.
A captive portal for airline passengers, running on a Raspberry Pi. Flight information, a digital onboard shop, a film service, games and paid internet, all controlled from a single admin environment. Built for a fictional aviation company to solve the eight-hours-in-the-air problem.
My team rebuilt one of the oldest known board games as an online multiplayer. I focused on the 3D game environment and wrote the AI opponent for single-player mode. It's exactly where I want to go next: 3D on the web and applied AI.
