How do you spend your time when you are twenty kilometres in the air, for eight hours long? With more than 93 thousand commercial flight per day, this is a reasonable concern for many aviation companies.
In the Tupil Air project we addressed this issue for a fictional company by creating a captive portal for plane passengers. For budgetary (and educational) reasons, this was implemented on a Raspberry PI. The portal included Flight information, a digital onboard shop, film service, multiple games and payed internet. All of these featured where managed through an admin environment.
